Well, it’s about eleven years since I was adopted, Crystal had her tonsils removed and I was a get well present for her. We count my age as eleven, but on my tag thingy it said I was born in 1998, which technically makes me twelve.

I don’t know much about my life before I was adopted, every now and then I have terrible flashbacks of my banana-addicted mother who abandoned me and my twin with our old hag of a grandmother, but I’ve mostly blocked that all out. So I’m not entirely sure where I was born.

Crystal is the only human that I have “belonged” to, we’ve been the best of friends since we met. I’m glad that I never had another human before her, they might have wanted to keep me and then we never would have met!
